American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular OR Surgical Tech (CVOR) for a 13-week travel contract in Las Cruces, NM, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and open heart surgical skills.

Position is located in the CVOR department of an acute care hospital setting

Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Travelers will float to the main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled

Call required every other week, including weekends

Joint Commission Accredited facility with a Chest Pain Center (Primary PCI) and Certified Primary Stroke Center designation

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required

AHA certifications required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR surgical tech experience required

Hands-on experience with open heart procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), aortic/mitral valve surgery, and lung procedures required
