Position: CAD Designer & Inspector
Government contractor is seeking a CAD Designer & Inspector to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
· Use SOLIDWORKS to create piece parts, assemblies, and drawings with proper GD&T.
· Use FaroArm CCM with PolyWorks to inspect parts and assemblies.
· Inspection of received, in-process, and final parts using inspection devices such as calipers.
· Maintenance of a calibration system including performing basic calibration.
· Other tasks as designated by supervisors.
Position Requirements:
· CAD certification and 3 years experience with SOLIDWORKS.
· Must possess a working knowledge of design principals and GD&T.
· Must be able to use inspection equipment such as: calipers and thread gauges.
· Must have an eye for detail and maintain accurate inspection records.
· Must be willing to evolve to meet the needs of the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
