POSITION TITLE: Apparel production Manager
Job: full-time, intermediate to mid-level

The ideal candidate is someone who is, detailed oriented with excellent communication and project management skills. This is a hands-on position working closely with the owner/management.
* This is not a local production job, we are not working with outside contractors. This is a in-house production job, managing the flow of production in-house.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage in-house sewing sample room, and work with in-house printing, wash and finishing to maintain the flow of production
- Daily maintenance of internal tracking documents, WIPs, calendars, files, spreadsheets, etc
- Run cost sheet for local production, negotiating with local vendors.
- Negotiate costing to ensure all styles align with cost/product goals (costs, minimums, lead-time, quality), and re-source or suggest changes as necessary; maintain and organize costing records
- Submit weekly margin report for all in-house local styles produced
- Manage communication with vendors on development process - sampling, color standards, costing, minimums, lead times, and QC issues. Advise manager of exceptions and best solutions
- Ensuring all styles from local + in-coming from overseas is being shot for ecom, and managing the flow from production to live on website
- Making sure all core styles are stocked, and any urgent re-order styles are produced urgently in a timely manner
- Adding cost, tags and publishing styles to go live on website
- Manage production assistant's / data entry assistant's schedules
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5 years previous Apparel Production experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PLM systems, Google Sheets..etc
- Excellent attention to details with strong time management and organization skills.
- Must be able to complete challenging deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at a time while working to a high standard
- Strong self-motivator, able to accomplish different tasks with minimal supervision
- Team player with great oral and written communication skills
- Capable of problem-solving and suggesting solutions
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and verbal/written skills, as well as thorough and accurate communication and follow-up
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload with multiple deadlines with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to think steps ahead
- Quick-moving and quick-thinking, able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Knowledge of garment construction
- Bilingual / Spanish speaking +

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
