Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and marinating ingredients
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Our little pub has been in search of a Line Chef that wants to be creative while working in a group setting. Our menu is established and pretty straightforward. We're looking for someone to plant some roots, build our specials and continue to build our spot in the name of good food.
Ideally, a dreamer with one foot planted in tradition. Needs to work a mixed schedule of some days and some nights. Opportunity for growth. Must work clean.
