Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our customers. EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced register.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry. EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage recipes.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
