Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Program Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and excellent communication abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Support: Is accountable for maintaining office/support functions as related to the work of the Agency.
A. Responsible for the completion of clerical work using best judgment in prioritizing work and tact, discretion and confidentiality in dealing with staff and members of the public. Provides operational support to programs by completing those tasks in an efficient and timely manner (i.e. correspondence, scheduling, filing, computer use, copying, and mailings).
B. General data verification and data entry to achieve the agency’s compliance with quality measures.
C. Complete projects which require independent functioning, initiative, research, and follow through. These include but are not limited to basic internal analysis, statistical reporting, and procedural and regulatory updates.
D. Provides tracking and follow-up to appropriate contacts for various reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Must be detail oriented with organizational skills. Independent functioning, initiative, research skills, and the follow through required to complete projects. Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer. Ability to pass a CORI check.
Pay: $20.28 per hour
