EBJ DAY SPA, Sacramento’s most recognized and award-winning day spa, is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support daily operations and contribute to an exceptional client experience. This key leadership role is responsible for assisting in the management of spa operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring the highest standards of service, organization, and client satisfaction are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Spa Management in overseeing daily operations, including front desk coordination, service flow, staff scheduling, and overall facility management
- Support, coach, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and meet performance expectations
- Supervise day-to-day front desk functions, including booking, point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, and client communications
- Ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience by addressing client inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining service standards
- Monitor and support retail sales performance, including merchandising, product knowledge, and inventory control
- Track and manage inventory levels, including ordering, stock replenishment, and minimizing product shrinkage
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, including daily/weekly sales reports, performance metrics, and inventory tracking reports for management review
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members to maintain a strong, cohesive staff
- Maintain compliance with cleanliness, safety, and operational standards in alignment with the spa’s reputation for excellence
- Support implementation of promotions, membership programs, and marketing initiatives to drive client retention and revenue growth
- Collaborate with ownership/management on process improvements, reporting, and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience (spa, salon, hospitality, or retail environment preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on team development and performance management
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with reporting, inventory tracking, and basic business analytics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional and polished demeanor
- Experience with scheduling systems, POS platforms, and inventory management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of the spa, skincare, or wellness industry is highly desirable
