Overview
Lussier Corporation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery and have a strong understanding of site work. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skidsteers, loaders, and bulldozers to perform tasks including demolishing houses, excavating for new foundations, installing drainage systems, installing utilities, and rough grading sites.
- Conduct regular inspections and grease equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and ensure that project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain accurate records of job site tasks completed and materials used.
- Snow plowing and removal in winter months along with normal duties.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in excavators, skidsteers, loaders, and bulldozers
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety practices in all aspects of work.
- Ability to read civil prints and set up rotary laser is a plus.

Pay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
