Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our early childhood education program. Duties
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that support children's growth and development
- Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality care
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and allocate resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency
- Develop partnerships with families, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings and support services
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and behavioral health protocols
- Oversee administrative functions such as record keeping, enrollment processes, and reporting requirements
- Foster an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities
Requirements
- Proven management experience in early childhood education or child care settings
- Strong background in program development and implementation tailored to young children’s needs
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges
- Excellent relationship management skills to collaborate with families, staff, and community partners
- Demonstrated administrative expertise in budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality improvement
- Knowledge of social work principles related to child welfare and family engagement
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere
