Welder
Workizer Work Products, Inc. is currently seeking a welder to join our team. In business since 1984 we fabricate products for the utility and construction industry.
Job Summary
Requires assembly of pre-manufactured parts to build the finished product. Most products will require some custom fabrication to complete.
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm, 30 min lunch break, Mon-Fri. Overtime possible if willing to work Saturday’s.
JOB INFORMATION:
Essential Responsibilities:
- MIG Welding
- Metal Fabrication
- Acetylene Torch Cutting
- Plasma cutting and grinding
- Use a variety of equipment: hand tools, power tools, and forklift
- Assembly/Production
Skills and Abilities:
- Be able to pass a weld test.
- Be mechanically inclined.
- Have fabrication experience (preferred).
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Adhere to protective clothing and gear requirements.
- Possess a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication process.
- Must be able to stand 6+ hours per day. Some work can be done while seated.
- Pass a drug screening and background check.
- Be dependable and have reliable transportation.
- 1 year working in the welding industry preferred. We will also consider new welding students with references, a high school diploma and some MIG experience.
