Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance
- Assist client with dressing and grooming.
Meal Preparation
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences.
- Ensure proper hydration throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assist with serving meals and cleaning up afterward.
Light Housekeeping
- Make beds and tidy living areas.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen surfaces.
- Laundry and folding clothes.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Empty trash and organize client living spaces.
Companionship
- Provide friendly conversation and emotional support.
- Encourage participation in daily activities.
- Accompany client during household activities as assigned.
- Promote a positive and respectful environment.
Documentation
- Complete daily caregiver notes as required by CYC Family Care.
- Report changes in client's condition, safety concerns, or incidents immediately.
- Follow all agency policies regarding confidentiality and client rights.
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Previous caregiving, home care, or companion care experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with client and family members.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass background screening.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Must demonstrate compassion, patience, professionalism, and dependability.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist client with routine daily activities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to perform housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
