Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and possess skills in inventory control, order fulfillment, and materials handling. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and cranes to move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist in order fulfillment by picking and packing items according to customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a focus on shipping/receiving, inventory control, or order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (30-40lbs) as required by the job.
- Familiarity with warehouse management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Certification for operating heavy machinery (e.g., reach truck or crane) is a plus but not mandatory.
