Overview
Trav-Ad Signs is looking for an experienced Lead Commercial Sign Installer to join our installation team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, jobsite leadership, and working safely while installing high-profile commercial signage.
The right candidate will have experience leading installations, operating equipment safely, and representing the company professionally on customer jobsites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation teams to ensure timely, safe, and precise sign installations on commercial sites.
- Lead commercial sign installation projects on-site
- Install channel letters, cabinets, monuments, vinyl graphics, and illuminated signage
- Read and interpret shop drawings and site plans
- Operate lifts, bucket trucks, cranes, and power tools safely
- Coordinate with project managers and crew members
- Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards
- Troubleshoot installation issues in the field
- Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors
Qualifications
- Previous commercial sign installation experience required
- Leadership experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL preferred but not required
- Crane, rigging, welding, or electrical certifications are a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
