Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in manufacturing processes and develop effective corrective actions.
- Design and review schematics, CAD drawings, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD tools.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Lead process engineering efforts to improve manufacturing workflows through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies.
- Oversee industrial equipment maintenance, fabrication projects, tooling setup, and welding operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Utilize CAD software to develop mechanical designs, schematics, and fabrication plans aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while managing factory experience projects involving industrial equipment and robotics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on process engineering or production optimization.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including assembly line operations, fabrication techniques, tooling design, welding, and robotics integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Creo; experience with Schematics is essential.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming, CNC programming (including CAM), robot programming, vision inspection systems, and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma), and ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including industrial engineers and factory personnel. Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
