Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime and guest disruption.
- Operate and calibrate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to manage building automation systems efficiently.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed for structural or equipment issues.
- Read schematics and electrical diagrams accurately to diagnose problems and implement solutions effectively.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Supervise maintenance projects including residential painting, carpentry, or specialized repairs, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Lead facilities maintenance activities with a focus on safety compliance and environmental regulations.
- Manage team members or contractors when supervising maintenance tasks, providing guidance and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities using tools like ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in residential painting, welding, and general facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical systems including schematics interpretation and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for building automation control.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes relevant to hotel operations or similar environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and inventory tracking.
- Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately for effective repairs.
