Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging and effective instructional design strategies for middle school curriculum
- Create lesson plans and educational materials that align with state and national standards
- Utilize education administration skills to effectively manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment
- Employ behavior management techniques to address student needs and ensure a productive classroom atmosphere
- Provide support and accommodations for students with special education requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research-based teaching practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or Statement of Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of concepts, theories, and methodologies
- Experience in instructional design and curriculum development
- Proficient in behavior management techniques for classroom management
- Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring and academic advising
