Tableau Trainer - Data Analyst – Foundation Level Classes
Tableau Trainer The Data Analyst – Foundation Level is responsible for delivering instructor-led and hands-on training that enables business users to confidently access and analyze data within Snowflake Self-Service Reporting environment. This role teaches the fundamentals of Tableau, including connecting to governed Snowflake data marts, building reports and dashboards, creating visualizations, applying filters and calculations, and following enterprise data governance and reporting best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Tableau fundamentals training for approximately 30 business users.
- Teach users how to access and connect to certified Snowflake data marts.
- Demonstrate how to create reports, dashboards, charts, and visualizations using Tableau.
- Train users on filtering, sorting, calculations, parameters, and basic analytics.
- Explain enterprise data governance, certified data sources, and reporting standards.
- Develop training materials, exercises, and user documentation.
- Provide hands-on workshops, coaching, and post-training support.
- Promote self-service analytics and best practices to reduce reliance on centralized report development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
- Understanding of Snowflake data marts and relational data concepts.
- Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to business users with varying levels of experience.
- Experience developing training materials and conducting classroom or virtual instruction is preferred.
Pay: $400.00 - $500.00 per day
