Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics, automotive electrical systems, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct front-end repairs such as wheel alignments, suspension work, steering components, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision.
- Diagnose and repair powertrain systems, transmissions, and diesel engines to restore vehicles to peak condition.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Assist with automotive service tasks including routine maintenance, brake repairs, welding, and other mechanical repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and vehicle alignment.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, schematics interpretation, and ADAS calibration procedures.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or diesel engines is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Prior experience in auto estimating or working within dealership environments is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
