ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications. Conducts tests using a variety of analytical chemistry techniques.
Advises production plant on adjustments to bring products into specification
Records test results into Quality system and generates certificates of analysis.
Operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as, centrifuge, agitators, viscometer, balances, spectrophotometer, gas chromatograph, colorimeter, and other equipment.
Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment. Calibrates laboratory instruments and prepares reagents.
Shift Information:
Initial training for the position will occur M-F 8AM-5PM; however, the typical shift for this position will be 7 days per 2 week period, shifts are 6:30AM-7:00PM. Employees will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays.
