Housekeeper
Location: Hartford Golf Club
Position Type: Part-Time
Pay range: $17-$18/ hr.
Schedule: Usually 5AM-10AM 5 days a week( Wed -Sun).

The Hartford Golf Club is a private country club located in West Hartford. It is the premier club in the Hartford region offering a rich tradition of sports, fine dining, and family-focused activities. The 30,000 square foot Clubhouse sits on 256 acres of impeccably maintained grounds. The Club has an extensive selection of world-class facilities for all ages, including a 27-hole golf course, 9 Har Tru tennis courts, 4 international squash courts, 6 outdoor platform tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, 1 pool, 4-lane duckpin bowling alley, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.
Position Summary
The Clubhouse Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring all clubhouse areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for members, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces throughout the clubhouse.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Replenish restroom and clubhouse supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, patios, and other guest areas.
- Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to management.
- Follow all club safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with special event set up and cleanup when required.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
