Job Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the daily operations, staffing, financial performance, and facility management of a standalone hyperbaric oxygen therapy clinic in Los Gatos. This role ensures efficient, safe, and compliant operations in alignment with California healthcare, labor, and privacy regulations. The Director of Operations provides strong leadership to staff, fosters exceptional patient and provider experience, and collaborates closely with clinical and administrative leaders to drive operational excellence and support sustainable multi‑site growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, safe, and patient‑centered workflows across all departments.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, SOPs, performance standards, and quality initiatives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop administrative and clinical staff, overseeing hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management in partnership with HR.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance excellence, including HIPAA, OSHA, California labor law, CDPH requirements, safety protocols, and facility readiness.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and operational KPIs, partnering with ownership, accounting, and billing teams to support revenue cycle health.
- Manage facilities, vendors, equipment, and inventory, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully operational environment that supports high‑quality patient care.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, operations management, or a closely related field is preferred. A bachelor’s degree may be considered with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- 8+ years of operations leadership experience in a medical, clinical, or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with insurance reimbursement, pricing, and healthcare financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and improving operational performance.
- Experience with CRM platforms, EHR systems, and healthcare workflow optimization.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of revenue management techniques and budgeting practices within service-oriented environments.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse teams across multiple departments.
- Experience in functional medicine is preferred.
- Experience in a multi‑site medical practice is preferred.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
