Highway Guardrail Installer
Job Summary:
The position for SE Highway Guardrail requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures and safety guidelines. This is a physically demanding job that routinely requires employees to move/lift 50-100 lbs. as well as performing precision work in the heat, very close to traffic.
Essential Job Function(s):
- Hours: 6 AM - 5 PM or later; guaranteed overtime (overtime pay rate = time and one half)
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to travel up to 5 days a week
- Reliable transportation
- Operate a forklift and/or skid steer (post pounder)
- Handling and installing of all materials for guardrail, cable, and handrail installation
- Loading and unloading materials up to 100 lbs
- Working from elevated platforms or truck beds
- Working next to fast moving traffic
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Personal phone
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Pass extensive background check
