Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with the department of Education Standards , incorporating innovative learning technology and instructional design principles.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cover literacy education, math, physical education, library services, and other core subjects tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, organize instructional materials, and facilitate communication with parents and colleagues.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with special needs or disabilities through specialized instruction and behavior management techniques.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect among students.
- Assess student development regularly through formative and summative evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, academic advising, and school events to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching in elementary school.
- Strong knowledge of kindergarden curriculum and early childhood development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
- Passion for teaching and supporting students academic and social support.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
