Blackbaud Expert Needed for Local Non-Profit Organization
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Non-Profit Fundraiser Advocate to join our organization’s mission-driven team. In this role, you will lead efforts to secure funding through strategic donor engagement, grant proposal writing, and innovative fundraising initiatives. Your expertise will help expand our outreach, strengthen relationships with donors and community partners, and support the organization’s long-term sustainability. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize revenue streams.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, community partners, and stakeholders through personalized engagement and regular communication.
- Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and other grant-making entities.
- Manage donor databases and CRM software such as Blackbaud to track contributions, analyze giving patterns, and generate reports.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms to raise awareness and attract new donors.
- Coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and outreach activities that promote organizational visibility and donor participation.
- Conduct research on potential funding sources, industry trends, and community needs to inform strategic planning.
- Oversee project management of fundraising initiatives ensuring timely execution and achievement of targets.
- Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with team members on marketing efforts, public relations strategies, and donor recognition programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development; database management experience is essential.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Raiser's Edge or similar systems; strong database management skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability in grant proposal writing and securing funding from diverse sources.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools including social media marketing platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating engaging content for various audiences.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience in relationship management, sales techniques for business development, and public relations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
