Hey There,
ICG Metal Fabricators is seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Laser to produce precision Sheet metal parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC laser programming, blueprint reading, and manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced factory environment. Experience with various machining tools and quality control measures is essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC Laser and CNC press brake machine.
- interpret blueprints to produce accurate parts.
- Monitor machine operations, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot issues
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC Laser & Break to ensure optimal performance.
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Handle materials and assist with fabrication tasks including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line support.
- Operate hand tools and machinery such as Bandsaw, Chop saw, Cold Saw ect.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols; participate in quality control inspections to meet manufacturing standards.
- Assist with materials handling, packaging, and warehouse activities as required.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading
- Experience operating various manufacturing equipment including CNC Laser and CNC press brake machine, etc
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fabrication processes, materials handling
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations relevant to machining tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards in a manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience or technical training to contribute to high-quality production processes within a dynamic factory setting.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 6:30AM- 3PM
Overtime may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
