We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room/Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including hotels, commercial spaces, and residential properties. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests and residents alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-presented.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
- Manage housekeeping supplies efficiently, reporting any shortages or needs for restocking.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain quality control and improve cleaning processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
