Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness through therapeutic massage.
Duties
- Perform various types of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history and specific concerns.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate techniques for effective treatment.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout the session.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with patient service protocols and the ability to assess individual client needs effectively.
- Experience in providing services within a med spa environment is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
