Summary:
Warehouse pullers must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks. This person must be able to count, read, match product and specs to the appropriate customers, have basic computer skills, be able to operate simple machinery (electric pallet jack and drive fork lift) without damaging products or the building. The position requires the ability to communicate and work closely and efficiently with others in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. This position is also salary based plus commission. Warehouse pullers receive a weekly stipend plus an incentive for each case pulled. This is an overnight 3rd shift position, must be willing to work the full shift averaging 8-12 hours depending on the nightly workload.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Listed below are the typical duties and responsibilities of this position. Other duties may be assigned as needed from your supervisor.
- Accurately pull orders and products from the pick tickets for your customers and inspect all products and labels are accurate and Fresh.
- Follow daily inventory control procedures by using the correct Lot and pulling from the correct rotation spot. Participates in inventory counts when needed.
- Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures and find ways in which to increase productivity.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, pallet area and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping/loading dock area; complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling products, neatly stacking boxes or loose items in appropriate boxes, completely the accurate order with a neat palletized pallet and shrink wrapping it. Always double check your orders to ensure you have everything on the pallet that the customer ordered before shrink wrapping.
- Understand OSHA and our AUDIT regulations as related to day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
- Checking off safety/cleaning areas daily when asked upon from your supervisor.
- Must call your immediate supervisor with a 2 hour notice for any reason of being late or absent from your shift.
- Must have proper uniform and steel toe boots.
Required Qualification:
- Good oral and written communication skills, including good typing, basic computer skills, legible handwriting and the ability to distinguish between different produce specs for variety of customers.
- High school graduate or GED.
- Ability to work with individuals and groups of people.
- Must be capable of working in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.
- Be able to drive a forklift and operate an electric pallet jack.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle product.
- Must be able to perform physical task, capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Must be in full uniform with steel toe boots before clocking into work.
- Ability to prioritize and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis where limited standardization may exit.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram or schedule form.

Pay: $600.00 - $900.00 per week
