Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing a variety of hands-on tasks related to concrete work, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete pouring and finishing to create smooth, durable surfaces in accordance with project specifications
- Set up and dismantle formwork using carpentry skills and hand tools
- Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as pumps and cutting tools safely and effectively
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and construction materials used in concrete work
- Proficiency in concrete forming, cutting, pouring, finishing, and curing techniques
- Skilled in rebar installation, formwork construction, and framing
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to heavy lifting and operating power tools
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking on construction sites
