Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Server to join our Bakery. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to standard recipes.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all food items meet safety and quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate needs to management.
- Follow food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of all products served.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer any questions about menu items.
- Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently completing tasks during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance customer experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
