Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders to ensure a positive experience from start to finish
- Prepare food items efficiently following safety and quality standards, including handling ingredients and maintaining sanitation protocols
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate food sales and retail transactions
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the restaurant
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering duties
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to health regulations and proper food handling procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service & fast-food restaurant environments, or café settings
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous cashiering experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy periods
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
- Experience with retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and serving in a fast-paced environment
