Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Print Operator to join our Compnay. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various printing equipment, including large-format printers, and digital presses. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the creation of visually compelling print products that meet precise specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of printing machines such as large-format printers, digital printers, to produce high-quality print materials.
- Manage color accuracy and consistency through effective color management techniques and calibration procedures.
- Interpret production documents, layouts, and technical specifications accurately to ensure precise execution of print jobs.
- Perform routine maintenance, mechanical adjustments, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Utilize graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing, ensuring proper layout design and typography.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Assist with cutting, paper binding, finishing, and other post-printing processes to deliver finished products that meet client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to machine operation and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating printing machinery such as large-format printers, flexo presses, or digital printing equipment.
- Strong understanding of color management principles and graphic design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and prepress software for file preparation.
- Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions meticulously.
- Familiarity with quality control standards within a manufacturing or print environment.
- Knowledge of typography, layout design, screen printing techniques, and print advertising is a plus.
- Physical ability to handle materials such as paper rolls or sheets using forklifts or manual handling techniques when necessary.
