The primary purpose of the Assistant Nurse Manager position is to support daily clinical operations, staff supervision, and the coordination of patient care while delivering efficient and professional customer service.
MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Head and Neck. This role supports leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment and plays a key role in staff oversight and quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a supervisory role.
Position Information
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Hours may require some flexibility depending on business operations.
Location: Onsite, Houston, TX.
In collaboration with center leadership, the Assistant Nurse Manager assists in overseeing human resource activities for all clinical staff, including recruitment, retention, supervision, evaluation, and productivity.

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

Preferred: Master's Degree Nursing or related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE

Required: Three years of clinical nursing experience.

Successful completion of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center New Graduate Nurse Residency Program can be substituted for two of the three required years of clinical nursing experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
