Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food presentation, and timely service
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest experience
- Background in hospitality or guest services roles like host/hostess or bussing staff is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction management
