Howling Hounds Dog Grooming is a locally owned, growing mobile grooming company serving Manatee and Sarasota Counties. We provide one-on-one, cage-free dog grooming at our clients’ homes in a calm, professional environment.
This role is ideal for groomers who take pride in quality work and want a long-term, sustainable grooming career; without the stress, noise, or overbooking of a traditional salon.
You will work independently in a fully equipped, climate-controlled grooming van while being supported by our scheduling and operations team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform full-service dog grooming including bathing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning
- Safely handle dogs up to 65 lbs
- Provide professional customer service at each appointment
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the grooming van and equipment
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding grooming needs and care
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience*
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Ability to commute to van storage location
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
*If under 1 year of experience, completion of a professional grooming certification program is required.
