Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead a crew in the field, ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of landscape construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work and motivates their team to perform at their best. Rock wall and water feature experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a crew of 2–6 landscape technicians
- Execute landscape construction or maintenance tasks according to project plans
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
- Coordinate daily tasks and logistics, including equipment and material handling
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and job specifications
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members
- Maintain safety standards and enforce safety policies on job sites
- Train new crew members and mentor staff to develop their skills
Skills
- 3+ years of landscape experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to drive with a trailer
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
