Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Executive who thrives in relationship-based, consultative sales and understands the creator economy, influencer marketing, and social media landscape. This role is ideal for someone who is highly capable, tech-savvy, psychologically astute, and comfortable owning the sales process end-to-end.
You will manage a high volume of conversations, build and maintain a healthy pipeline, and close deals independently at high-ticket levels while supporting leadership on higher-tier opportunities. You’ll work closely with the Manager of Business Development & Content, executives, and leadership team to drive growth and revenue.
This role requires flexibility, emotional intelligence, stamina, and a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
● Own the full sales lifecycle: lead engagement, discovery, relationship-building, pitching, negotiation, and closing
● Independently close high ticket deals, and effectively tee up higher-tier deals for leadership to finalize
● Conduct a high volume of daily calls, follow-ups, and outreach (warm and cold leads)
● Build, manage, and maintain a healthy, active sales pipeline
● Apply language mapping, psychology, and consultative selling techniques to guide conversations and overcome objections
● Confidently shift, disarm, and redirect conversations while maintaining trust and rapport
Relationship-Based Selling
● Sell trust, credibility, and long-term partnership, not just services
● Demonstrate patience, kindness, and professionalism in all interactions
● Build authentic relationships with talent, creators, influencers, brand partners, and internal stakeholders
● Represent the company’s values with integrity and emotional intelligence
Collaboration & Support
● Partner closely with the Manager of Business Development & Content and leadership team
● Provide support on higher-level deals by prepping materials, managing communication, and maintaining momentum
● Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth handoffs
Technology & Process
● Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and document sales activity
● Maintain accurate, timely records and follow-up workflows
● Adapt quickly to evolving tools, systems, and processes in a startup environment
Required Qualifications
● Proven experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally within:
o Talent management
o Influencer marketing
o Social media / digital media
● Strong understanding of:
o The creator/influencer economy
o Social media platforms and trends
o How creators, brands, and audiences interact
● Comfortable handling high outreach volume and fast-paced outreach
● Confident closer with the ability to own deals from start to finish
● Professionalism working with and selling to the industry’s highest earning creators
● Excellent communication skills; Clear, warm, persuasive, and adaptable
● Highly functional, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities
● Comfortable with cold calls, inbound leads, and follow-up-heavy sales cycles
● Strong emotional intelligence and psychological insight into buyer behavior
Preferred (But Not Required)
● Experience with CRM platforms such as: GoHighLevel, HubSpot, and / or Salesforce
● Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
● Background in technology-based or programmatic sales
● Familiarity with performance-based or value-based sales models
Work Style & Expectations
● While standard working hours are 9-5 PST, the ideal candidate must be willing to:
o Take calls or respond to messages during evenings or occasional weekends
o Be flexible during high-growth “sprint” periods followed by slower cycles
● Light travel may be required occasionally
● Must be comfortable working fully remote and highly capable with computers, laptops, and digital tools
