Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and building infrastructure using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs on refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Lead small maintenance projects or construction tasks as needed, coordinating with team members or contractors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure safety and operational continuity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, construction practices, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with electrical wiring is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
