Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests with a warm and inviting demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Previous Sushi Related experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact with guests effectively.
- Familiarity with Shift 4 POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
