Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and state regulations.
- Manage acute pain cases, perform triage assessments, and coordinate urgent care or emergency interventions as needed.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Charm for accurate documentation and medical records management.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice independently or under collaborative practice agreements.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography and laboratory specimen processing.
- Excellent client communication skills with experience working with geriatrics, behavioral health patients or individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
