We are looking for a Structural Exclusion Specialist. This is a high-stakes role that combines construction expertise with wildlife biology. You are the final line of defense; after our technicians remove the animals, you arrive to restore the structure and "harden" the home against future intrusions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- 360° Forensic Inspections: You’ll analyze structures from the crawlspace to the chimney to identify every possible breach point.
- Structural Restoration: Performing high-quality carpentry, masonry, and metalwork to seal entry points.
- Specialized Metal Fabrication: Using metal bending brakes and custom scribing to create wildlife-proof barriers that look as good as they perform.
- High-Altitude Work: You will spend much of your day on ladders and roofs. If you aren't comfortable with heights, this isn't the role for you.
- Client Consultation: You’ll walk homeowners through your findings, explain the "how and why" of the damage, and provide professional quotes for the restoration work.
The Ideal Candidate
- The "Master Handyman" or Carpenter: You have a background in home repair, roofing, or siding.
- Metalwork Pros: If you have experience with a metal bending brake or custom flashing, you are our top priority.
- Solution-Oriented: You have the "common sense" to look at a complex roofline and figure out exactly how a squirrel is getting in.
- Customer Facing: You are professional, articulate, and able to manage client expectations during stressful home repairs.
- Location: Based in Louisville Metro or within a 30-minute commute.
