Role Description The Embroidery Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Marysville, OH. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring embroidery machines, setting up jobs according to work orders, and ensuring designs are stitched accurately on garments and other items. Day-to-day tasks include hooping and preparing garments, threading and maintaining machines, loading design files, and performing test runs to confirm quality. The Embroidery Associate will inspect finished products for accuracy, color consistency, and defects, making adjustments as needed. The role also involves organizing inventory, assisting with order staging and packing, keeping the workspace clean and safe, and collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience with basic machine operation, preferably in embroidery, screen printing, or other apparel decoration environments.
- Strong attention to detail, including color matching, design alignment, and quality inspection of finished items.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, production schedules, and simple digital design files.
- Comfort with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods, with safe use of equipment and tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for hooping, trimming threads, and handling small components.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with production and design team members.
- Basic computer skills for operating embroidery software and machine interfaces; willingness to learn new systems.
- Reliable attendance, commitment to meeting deadlines, and openness to training and process improvements.
- Previous experience in embroidery or apparel production is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
