Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes across a diverse range of medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in outpatient Family Practice clinic providing comprehensive patient assessments and delivering high-quality medical services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care while utilizing advanced clinical skills and cutting-edge EMR systems.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, vital sign assessments, and detailed patient histories to inform clinical decisions.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions such as hypertension, Diabetes, cholesterol, infectious diseases, geriatrics, behavioral health issues, and post-acute care needs.
- Utilize EMR system to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Provide patient education on health coaching, medication adherence, nutrition, and disease prevention strategies.
- Outpatient hours Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification.
- Require six months to one year of outpatient primary care experience.
- Proven experience working in Outpatient family practice clinic
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics.
