We are seeking a detail-oriented Pathology Assistant to support pathologists in the examination, processing, and documentation of surgical and tissue specimens. Responsibilities:

Assist with gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens

Accession, label, and process tissue specimens

Prepare and document specimen descriptions and measurements

Submit tissue sections for histologic examination

Maintain accurate laboratory records and reports

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Assist with specimen tracking, storage, and disposal

Support laboratory quality improvement initiatives

Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field required

PA(ASCP) certification preferred

Previous pathology, histology, or laboratory experience preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills
