Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment
- Secure vehicles properly to ensure safe transportation
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving the tow truck
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their vehicle needs
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed
Skills:
- Commercial driving experience, preferably with a tow truck
- Proficiency in operating a manual transmission vehicle
- Knowledge of automotive repair and mechanical principles
- Familiarity with using forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading vehicles
- Ability to handle various types of vehicles, including those on flatbeds
- Strong customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
