Department: Cardiovascular ICU
Location: Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, 205 N East Ave., Jackson, MI 49201
Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 hours shifts)

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Your day-to-day impact includes:
- Collecting and recording essential patient data – vitals, food and fluid intake/output, and more – with precision and care.
- Responding to patient needs and partnering with RNs to ensure maximum comfort and safety.
- Noticing the little changes that can make a big difference – and reporting them promptly.
- Supporting mobility by helping patients ambulate and get where they need to go.
- Assisting with oxygen devices under RN direction and applying slings post-pacemaker procedures.
- Performing clinical tasks such as Foley catheter insertion, bladder scans, enemas, blood glucose checks, and documenting results.
- Providing help with daily activities, like dressing, meals, and hygiene.
- Supporting RNs during equipment use and bedside procedures.
- Delivering culturally sensitive care to a wide range of patients — from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Promoting positive experiences for patients and their families through kind, respectful interaction.
- Performing phlebotomy and IV access procedures with confidence and care.
