Duties
- Maintain cleanlieness throughout the restaurant.
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored to uphold health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, and organizing supplies to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Basic knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and basic food prep techniques is advantageous.
