Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to oversee our Diecast operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings and be skilled in managing diecast line processes. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to lead a team effectively while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring efficient workflow on the inspection lines.
- Monitor and maintain production schedules to meet output targets.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance regularly.
Skills
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with a focus on processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with forklift operations is preferred; certification is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with various teams within the organization.
