POSITION OVERVEW and PURPOSE:
The Order Entry Quality Control (OE – QC) is responsible for providing support to the Detailing Department by obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. The OE-QC works under the supervision of the AVP customer relations.
Essential Functions:
· Primary responsibility is to review orders for 100% accuracy to customers purchase order and documents. If errors are found work w/detailer to correct or ask clarifying questions to ensure accuracy.
· Interprets customer product descriptions to verify order accuracy.
· Fulfills daily departmental order entry goals.
· QC and verify the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the company’s software system and customer purchase orders.
· Ensure excellence and professionalism in all customer interactions including voice calls, emails, and visits.
· Operate a computer workstation to obtain and extract order information. Provide management with the data for inclusion in various scheduled and special reports.
· Utilize the internal template library for appropriate door/frame preparation templates to coincide with orders.
· Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations for any related outsourced material.
· Develop and recommend changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the Order Detailing group.
· Support The Mesker Way, FUNdamentals, and lead by example.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Must use and be able to manipulate a computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone.
· May be required to sit/stand for long periods of time.
· Based on proficiency could work under heavy to limited supervision.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
· Previous Hollow Metal and Finish Hardware industry experience preferred.
· Experience in Project Management preferred.
· Experience in Commercial Hollow Metal doors/frames distribution preferred.
· Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions and standard work tickets.
· Basic math skills required.
· Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills required.
· Must be able to work independently as well as in a group environment.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Must demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills, good organizational skills related to managing paperwork and time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
