Job Description
The Warehouse Specialist works to support various production departments in the allocation of material in a timely, work cohesively with other warehouse team members to load and unload various trucks and or containers, conduct inventory counts as well as ensure that a safe work environment is observed
Job Duties
- Pull and deliver stock, materials, and supplies to the production floor in a timely manner. During this process, proper rotation of stock is conducted that sees older stock consumed first.
- Receive new inventory and verify items against packing slips, purchase orders, or receiving documents.
- Properly label, store, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, or receiving issues to management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse area. Operation of various pieces of equipment that range from pallet jacks to forklifts is done in a manner that ensures the safety and validity of the building, stock, and team members is observed.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills are required to perform cycle counts and inventory levels.
- Able to lift 50lbs independently.
- Must have good attendance, and punctuality to work is critical
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Clean driving record as the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment will be utilized.
- Training and certification will be conducted at the discretion of management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
